The lillebaby COMPLETE is the newest carrier from lillebaby, which is no longer connected with the Scandinavian Child, a larger company that had sold the previous generations of lillebaby brand carriers.  The COMPLETE is meant to be just that – complete!  They’re really thought of everything!  The new lillebaby COMPLETE Carrier is a buckle carrier (also known as a soft-structured carrier or an SSC).  It works for newborns without the need for an infant insert, and will last you well into the toddler years.  It has a weight recommendation of 7-45 lbs.  Choose from Original (100% cotton), Organic (100% organic cotton), or Airflow (100% cotton and 3D mesh for amazing breathability). 

It has a structure similar to other popular buckle carriers, but has improved on some of their flaws.  The lillebaby COMPLETE carrier securely holds baby in a front, hip, or back carry with comfortable, well-padded shoulder straps, generous support in the structured waist belt, and an adjustable body.  When baby is small, the bib on the body of the carrier can be snapped down so that it has a shorter back, and the bib can be snapped up for a taller back later when baby is older and you need more support, as well as helping to prevent the “leaner.”  Additionally, there is an adjustable sleeping hood that is detachable.  The seat area is also adjustable.  It can be unthreaded and snapped down to a more narrow position when baby is younger to allow feet to be out of the carrier (this is also what allows the forward facing out position, should you choose it), and then rethreaded to make it with wonderful seat darts to give a nice deep seat when baby is older.  There is no need for an infant insert, but there is a safety belt/harness inside the carrier to prevent a young baby from leaning too much to one side if you find that necessary.  Finally, the lillebaby COMPLETE comes with an optional/removable lumbar support, and foot stirrups that can be used for older children to maintain a good seat are offered separately (they also work with other carriers that have a similar waist belt structure).
