The scariest and deadliest bugs in the world! #BugOut

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Orkin Ecologist for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I hate most bugs but there are some that really freak me out. Two of those insects are spiders and centipedes, I can’t stand them! I recently read the article about the scariest and deadliest bugs in the world from the Orkin Ecologist and now I have a few more bugs to add to my list! These bugs don’t just freak me out, they are really scary!

Have you heard of the tarantula hawk? No? Neither have I until I read this article. This bug is found in the US and actually sting Tarantulas, haul them back to their burrows and lay their eggs on the tarantula's back! Think that’s creepy? Well here is the creepiest part, The larvae will feed on the spider when they hatch!! EEK!!

Another insect I’ve never heard of but now that I know what it is, freaks me out, is the tropical rat flea. This bug is best known for Bubonic Plague which killed 25 million people in the 1300’s! That fact really blew my mind! From what the article on the Orkin Ecologist website says, this insect is found tropicals habitats worldwide. Well, you won’t see me visiting any tropical habitats anytime soon!

As I mentioned above, spiders freak me out but the spider that scares me the most is the brown recluse who is also mentioned in the article. I actually know someone who was bit by one and it wasn’t pretty! From what I heard, these spiders are common and like to make their homes near humans! It’s bite contains a necrotoxic venom which spread through the bloodstream and destroy all types of tissue. This is definitely a spider I wouldn't want to cross paths with!

Did you know that the Orkin Ecologist website is a great educational resource science lovers? Even if you’re not a lover of bugs, I found the site to be very interesting! It’ a great website for kids who are interested in insects as well! Check it out today and make sure to keep connected by liking the Orkin Ecologist on Facebook and following on Pinterest.

Rite Aid #Tugaboos & Vera Bradley Sweepstakes! #ad

I am so excited to have this opportunity to have had the opportunity to review Rite Aid Tugaboos diapers as part of this sponsored campaign!

We go through a ton of diapers and as E grows, her needs change, whether it be the diaper size, absorbency or fit. Brands that have worked for her when she was a newborn may not work the same for her now.

We recently had the opportunity to try Rite Aid Tugaboos Diapers in a size 4 which fit infants and todlers from 22-37 lbs. We are happy with our current brand but I am always open to trying new, quality diapers that are sold at a reasonable price. Rite Aid Tugaboos diapers have recently been improved for added leakage protection and faster absorption. Some of the key features of Tugaboos diapers include:

  • Soft stretchable waist & side panels
  • Excellent leakage protection
  • Hypoallergenic inner liner
  • Cottony soft feel

NEW White Cloud Luxuriously Soft Bath Tissue {Review} #Sponsored

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of White Cloud for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

What do you look for in a bath tissue? For me, price and absorbancy are very important. I also want a quality bath tissue that is reasonably priced.

I couldn't wait to try new White Cloud Luxuriously Soft Bath Tissue. The White Cloud Bath Tissue is made using an innovative technology called “TAD.” which stands for “Through Air Dried." TAD is super-premium technology in the bath tissue world and uses a special machine to blow air through single-ply sheets, creating a two-ply product with incredible thickness, softness, strength and absorbancy.

White Cloud Luxuriously Soft means giving your family the feeling of pure comfort that it deserves each and every day. You’ll love the softness of this premium bath tissue mysteriously made from the softness of clouds! Best of all, you won’t have to pay a premium price for it like you might with other brands.

Keeping Your Family and Identity Safe with LifeLock

Momma T and Family aims to provide unbiased editorials. However, I wish to disclose that from time to time I may receive free products or other compensation from companies for blogger reviews.

Every parent wants to protect their children and family to the best of their ability. Since E was an infant, My husband and I have taken precautions to protect our daughter.

Our family!

We have covered electrical outlets, made sure cabinets are locked and we keep potentially harmful items out of reach. We also baby proofed in other ways such as keeping child gates and by using edge and corner guards where needed. When E was born, we even purchased a brand new smoke and a carbon monoxide detector for our apartment.

We didn't get much use out of those outlet covers, safety gates, and cabinet locks when E was immobile but when she started to crawl then walk, we were glad to have them!
