The New People Baby Brush

Baby E was born with a beautiful headful of dark hair. I was overjoyed when I saw all that hair on top of her little head because it was the one thing I wanted more then anything (besides for a healthy baby). I didn't realize was how hard managing all that hair was going to be.

E is about a week old in this picture. See all of that hair?!?!

I had a tough time styling Baby E's hair and along with that, she tended to get tiny knots in it. I had used various baby brushes and none of them worked in getting the knots out. I resorted to using my own hair brush and a little bit detangling product. This worked but unfortunately the detangler would leave her hair greasy and unpleasant.

Puppies Vs. Babies: Who's cuter?

Puppies bark and that can be pretty annoying. Yes, babies cry, but I'd prefer to hear that then the bark of a puppy. Puppies also tend to chew up furniture and other items such as shoes which is something you don't have to worry about a baby doing!

When it comes to Baby E, she has adorable chubby cheeks, button nose and smile that will melt your heart! No puppy can touch the level of her cuteness! Plus, I don't have to worry about her barking, biting, or peeing/pooping on my floor like a puppy would. That's not cute.

Now look at her face, can you honestly say a puppy is cuter then that?

What Stain?

Sunbaby Cloth Diapers Review and #Giveaway

After searching for cheap but functional pocket diapers, I came across Sunbaby through one of the cloth diapering groups I belong to. When browsing the Sunbaby website, The first thing I noticed were the super cute prints. They carry girl and boy prints in addition to solid colors with new prints being released every couple of months.

These one size pocket diapers adjust in size to fit babies from 7 to 35 pounds and feature adjustable hip and front snaps. As for material, The outer layer of a Sunbaby is made of breathable PUL and the inner layer is a super soft microfleace that keeps your little one dry.

My Lice Nightmare

I never in my life thought I'd be writing about this subject but I want to share my experience with other parents. If you ever had them, you know what a pain it is to get rid of them. If you never had them, well, I hope that you never get them.

One of the common misconceptions is that only people who are "dirty" and children can contract lice. WRONG! Anyone can get them, even the cleanliest person. From what I've heard and read, it's more common for elementary school children to contract them and is spread by head to head contact. The best way to try to avoid getting lice is to make sure your child doesn't share hats, combs, brushes, clothing or any type of bedding.

Baby E loves bath time and playing with her favorite bath toy, her rubber duck. I'm pretty particular about what types of bath products I use on her and prefer eco-friendly and natural products.
