With Netflix, You can watch your favorite TV shows and movies anywhere, any time you want because Netflix is available on hundreds of devices, including our Roku! We also downloaded the free Netflix app on our iPhone which can be quite handy!

Children's Dental Health #Giveaway!

As most of you may know, it's Children's Dental Health month which was created to raise awareness about the importance of oral care. In previous blog posts I've talked about the importance of establishing healthy oral care habits as young as infancy.

Tiny #Tooth Pouch from Shary Loves You!

How great would it be to have a little keepsake pillow for you child when he or she looses a tooth? Check out these adorable Tiny Tooth Pillows from fellow blogger, Shary Loves You (c/o Tiny Boss Designs)! They are perfect for any child and each tooth is made out of cotton fabric with fun embroidered facial features. There's a small denim pocket attached to the side to keep teeth (and later money) for when the Tooth Fairy pays your child a visit after loosing a tooth!

Sunstar GUM Children's Toothbrushes and Flossers {Review}

Like I've mentioned before, It's so important to establish healthy oral habits when your children are young. Children should brush twice a day with toothpaste and floss when brushing. It is recommended that children also brush between meals. Parent's should supervise brushing and flossing until they feel that the child can brush and floss on their own.

Yo Gabba Gabba! LIVE!: Get the Sillies Out {Review}

Our family recently went to see a performance of Yo Gabba Gabba! LIVE!: Get the Sillies Out at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ. E loves Yo Gabba Gabba (or "go-go Gabba" as she calls it) and it's one of those children's shows that I don't mind watching with her. As a parent, I appreciate the messages the show promotes but most of all, I secretly enjoy the music and love that Yo Gabba Gabba has featured some of my favorite artists. It's definitely a guilty pleasure.

Rock 'N Learn Sight Words {Review and #Giveaway}

Photobucket
Rock 'N Learn makes educational videos, music and apps on various subjects for children 2 years of age and up!

My nephew is going to be 4 in August and starts pre-k in September. The TV shows and movies that interest him the most are not very educational and don't have a lot to teach his little mind. Since he enjoys a lot of the DVDs that his Aunt Trisha (me) brings over, I figured he might enjoy Rock 'N Learn's Sight Words.

LeeLee Labels {Review & #Giveaway}

Before I became a mother, I worked in childcare. One of the things I learned in my experience was the importance of labeling your child's belongings.

Now let me tell you, caregivers and teachers LOVE when parents label their child's things. It makes their job so much easier, especially if something goes missing! You wouldn't believe how many children have the same type of bottle/sippy cup, jacket, or even pair of shoes. Labeling items prevents mix-ups and if your child loses an item, it can easily be recovered by simply readying a label.

Disney's The Secret World of Arrietty {Free Coloring Pages}

Arrietty (voice of Bridgit Mendler), a tiny, but tenacious 14-year-old, lives with her parents (voices of real life husband and wife, Will Arnett and Amy Poehler) in the recesses of a suburban garden home, unbeknownst to the homeowner and her housekeeper (voice of Carol Burnett). Like all little people, Arrietty (AIR-ee-ett-ee) remains hidden from view, except during occasional covert ventures beyond the floorboards to “borrow” scrap supplies like sugar cubes from her human hosts. But when 12-year-old Shawn (voice of David Henrie), a human boy who comes to stay in the home, discovers his mysterious housemate one evening, a secret friendship blossoms. If discovered, their relationship could drive Arrietty’s family from the home and straight into danger.
